Hi there,
There have been a couple of reports of similar problems.
What version of Notes/OS are experiencing this problem?
There are reports of Notes clients on Windows 7 not following the Windows Font substitutes found in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitute , it is instead is picking up the first Latin or language designation font that is alphabetically ahead of Arial. By default, on Windows, Arial is the first font to meet this criteria so there is no widespread problem.
On affected workstations there are potentially a number of fonts starting with the letter A ahead in the list and on the users workstation some or all the following Fonts starting with A existed.
In an attempt to correct this problem, open the Windows/Fonts directory and rename/delete any Latin based fonts before Arial. and then Restart Lotus Notes - you should see the correct fonts in the views.
Hope this helps,
Paul
