Yeah, it would be good, wouldn't it.

Unfortunately it costs a lot of time to deal with the complexity of Microsoft's underlying XML format. I did it once, when they had a fairly simple XML format to work with. Now Excel pops up a dialog that the format is old or some such. But so far it still works for us.
