And just for further pointers ... NotesDBDirectory will help you scan through all the databases

It's not quite as easy as that, because NotesDBDirectory will give you every Notes database, not just the email DBs. So you'll need to match up the path names to where you normally store email DBs. But it'll get you a list, if your list of databases is huge.
