Is MIME more work? Yep. Virtually everything that Notes offers has a less convenient, Web system for it now. And MIME is that.

If there's something specific to each email, that's what a Mail Merge is for. Unfortunately you'd need to try out whatever you're attempting with a MIME email, and often that doesn't work as well.

If you're simply writing emails visually and then queueing them up for another agent to send, you could also do that by ... setting your account (or another account) to create the email as a MIME/HTML email. Your "Location" document tells your account how to format messages.

Keep in mind, unless you disable the MIME / richtext conversion, LotusScript is likely to attempt that. And often that doesn't yield great results. I normally turn it off from LotusScript and work directly with the MIME Parts. You'll need to be careful not to reload / modify the email in such a way that MIME doesn't support, but this has worked for me.
