Subject: Sending a mail which the content look like a letter

I have a MS Word template which I use to generate a formal letter via LS agent. Basically pass some value from a Notes document into bookmarked area in that template and finally save it as PDF file to be printed or attach into email and send to user. These I can do.

But now, my boss wants us to not attach it into email as attachment but instead email the content of that letter exactly as it is being laid out.

The mail will be sent via internet because our recipients are not Notes based and are of outside domain therefore preparing a Notes form which we then put fields in it and mail the form is not a method to follow.

One way is to use NotesRichText and all those to send a rich text mail but that would mean to write a lot of things. Even if we were to send a mime based html message there's a lot of things to code.

So my question is can I somehow convert the resulting document generated from that word template into html and then email it to user so that when the recipient open the mail, the content is actually the letter?

I'm really not sure what to approach. I searched around and found something about mail merge but I doubt that is the solution.

**The content of the letter is as usual: recipieent name and address, date of letter, and line, sender name and address, paragraph of contents (sometimes with tables too to display tabular data), and finally the signature line and best regards wishes etc. etc.
