Subject: Web service consumer: Problem with encoding "ISO-8859-1"?
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Domino Designer on Eclipse (DDE)
Technical Area: Application Development
Platform: ALL
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Not applicable

Hi,

I have a Web-service-consumer which is not working and i simply can't figure out why. See this post:
http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd85forum.nsf/DateAllThreadedWeb/2068f6a96e4d1e3085257b79004f32eb?OpenDocument

Now the only idea i found is that the web-service uses the encoding="ISO-8859-1". All my other working servicse use "UTF-8".
Does anybody know if a Web-service-consumer in Lotus Notes works only with specific encodings?
Is there a way how i could change the encoding in my consumer?
Can anyone confirm that he has a working consumer for a ws with the encoding "ISO-8859-1"?

Thank you in advance.

WSDL header looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
...

PS: Unfortunately i can't do any changes on the web-service side to test if this is causing my problem.
