This problem is know for over 6 month...still not solved....Hmmmmm....However de technote is reffering to Symphony, the problem is the same.
I reviewed your problem description. Apparently, there is a similar
problem which is already been reported to Lotus Engineering. You may
take a look following website for futher information.
As a temporary workaround, you may want to avoid special characters in
your place name and place description. Once the fix is available, it
will be available for download on IBM Lotus Quickr Support Site.
Please let me know if this answer your questions, if no please let me

Quickr version and fix level.
