Subject: Setting the default font for emails not 'taking'.

I want to set my default mail font to Ariel (it's currently Default Sarif). So I went into the body of the email, typed some text, set the text font to Ariel, then selected Text > 'set current font as mail default'.

I then create a new email and the font is back to Default Sarif.

Any ideas why this might be happening?
