Several options but no very easy ones.

like using Lotusscript or java and dxl to export the hole thing to an XML stream. - But this would mean quite some filtering at the end, and would probably be as much work and harvesting the stuff via http.

Judging the amount of Data (=Network load?) by interpreting text only sounds strange (no formating, no Pictors or attachments sond strange)

If you still want to go for it, I think I would look at @Abstrakt in Agent1 to generate a field with the text only of the content in every memo, and at Agent2 to export whatever you want to have

If you want only one Agent: I would try Either @Length(@Abstract...) and sum up the stuff in a view at the end (Kategoriesed by week or day to get your results) or you could try to call @abstract from Lotusscript via evaluate
