Re: Extracting text from Memos?

A quick 'n' dirty way of extracting text from Memos would be to simply open the Mail-File(s) containing the target-memos using Lotus Notes, then select the ones you wish to export text from, & click File -> Export. Doing so will place the contents of the Selected Documents into a Text-file. Note, multiple Selected Documents will not result in multiple Text-files - each Documents' contents will be placed into one big Text File.
And if the target-memos reside within multiple Mail-Files (i.e. Databases) which the quick 'n' dirty way would require a lot of work by-hand to do, you could write a LotusScript (LSX) Agent or Java Agent to parse the contents of the targeted-memos within each Database & then place that output into a Text File (or individual Text-files). Taking this programmatic approach would also allow you to select only the "Body" of the targeted-memos. Using the quick 'n' dirty way will give you everything out of each memo, including Email Headers & etc...
