Two servers

In an increasingly mobile and access anywhere world, I'm curious why you would want to restrict access like that. If it's for security reasons, it's understandable, but it's hard to imagine an organization that would allow some webmail if security was the issue.

The easiest way would be to have two mail servers with mail files for those who can get webmail on one and those who cannot on the other, with that second one either not having HTTP enabled or being inside the firewall.

Or you could rely on users not knowing how to get to webmail as the barrier to using it....

Of course, the main question for me remains, "Why would you want to do this?" Security? Volume of traffic? Making webmail a privilege?

Dave
