Deleting the folder worked for me, as well.

I've submitted an ESR and included my Lotus Notes & Domino Fault Reports database - we are seeing lots of these "notes2.exe gone missing" crashes with the 8.5.1 client (regardless of FixPack). We also see a fair amount of "Dump Event "gpf" (00002000) received" crashes with the 8.5.1 client.
