Hi,
This morning I found a way to sync Notes 5.0.11 (Contacts and Calendars)with my new Tunsgten E using EasySync Pro. This is my goal. Hereunder what I have done:
- uninstall EasySync Pro
- In my case all the data were stored in my Tungsten E. If this is not the case save all the .dat files and what is necessary to keep your preferences (I am a beginner in Palm area and I do not know what/where are these files).
- uninstall Palm DeskTop, VersaMail and Document To Go (programs, registry and directory ie c:\Program Files\Palm)
- download from PalmSource site the version 4.1 of Palm DeskTop. The name of the file is PalmDesktop41SP03ENG.exe. If you do not find it the URL is:

Just for your information: the CD delivered with the Tungsten E contains version 4.1.2 of Palm DeskTop
- take the web file to install Palm DeskTop
- close the icon HotSync (down right). I am sure if it is necessary but I have done it.
- install EasySync Pro 4.2.1
- after this installation you will NOT see EasySync Pro conduit in HotSync.
- modify the data sources to point to the correct .nsf files.
- start synchronization by clicking on Synchronize button in EasySync Pro.
These steps have worked for me and I hope they will work for you.
