Hi, thanks for the info. I did test it in the way described and it appears not to be working at all still, I don't see any dns query to the blacklist site.

Any ideas on better debugging. This is not a clean install, it is an upgrade from R5 to R6 on Redhat Linux 7.3 with kernel 2.4.18-3.
