thanks, but it seems like the problem is at the domino server end, I have done lots of checking against many rbls and they all work fine. Just seems like the server isn't even trying to query the blacklist name server. There must be a debug command that verbosely log the progress of any attempted lookups. Will have to do some more digging :-)
