Hello every one.
I am new here so be kind...
My question is:
I am trying to integrate Notes and smart cards.
The Notes is 6.0.
Enabling Smart card went clean.
Now I want to send signed mails.
Alas, when I follow the exact guidelines including using a 1024 bit certificate ( p12 ):
(From Notes help):
"
To place an RSA private key onto a smartcard:
1 - Open the User Security Panel (File -> Security -> User Security)
2 - Open the Your Identity // Your Certificates pane
3 - Select the Internet Certificate associated with the private key that you want to move to the smartcard.
4 -Select Other Actions // Store Private Key on Smartcard.
"
then when I send signed mail the notes doesn't use the smart card and doesn't "sign" the mail at all.
please if any one knows how to do this - I will be thankfull ( even if you have ideas as to how to sign mails without the smart card).
