I have two computers, both Notes 6.0.
One runs java fine. The other doesn't.
The one that runs correctly has WTS 2000 server installed, and I am running in a windows session. When woring in Notes, I can add a document, and a java program runs correctly. (The Domino server, by the way is on another machine.)
On the other workstation, which has Windows 2000 pro installed, when I update a Notes document and a java program is suppose to execute, I get this message:
JVM: Java Virtual Machine failed to start.
I have been to the MS web site and have all of the latest patches, updates, etc. I ran jview in command session, and I have java version 5.00.3810. I have checked the www.lotus.com siie and tried all of their suggestions, which aren't many. None helped.
