I also see a really slow redraw of the Notes 6 Welcome Page. I am on an IBM ThinkPad P4 w\512MB RAM running W2000. The Notes client runs smooth and quick everywhere else. I don't think reducing the hardware acceleration is a good solution, but I will try looking for updated graphics card drivers (even though the laptop is a week old).
