Is there any possiblity to pass environment variable values in the view selection forumla window?

The value of environment variables changes based on the selection carried out.

I have been using the following forumla in the view selection.

SELECT Form="Activities" & JobCode=@Environment("JobC")

It gives a set of documents associated with the environment variable for a selected value stored in the environment variable. When the value of the environment variable is changed by making a new selection, still the result is the same in the view, without any refresh. I also confirmed the change in the values of the environment variable.
I don't like to use the Folder concept in this place. Please clarify me. Thanks in advance
