Hi everyone,
We have a mixed environment with R5 and R6.5 servers (we in the middle of a migration process), and eventualy we have to open the same replica DB (mail file) on R5 and R6.5 servers. The replicas are set to not replicate the design. When I switch between the two replica versions of the DB, weird things happen:
- I open the R5 version of the DB on the R5 server and I can see everything OK. I close it;
- then I open the R6.5 version of the DB on the R6.5 server and see everything OK too. I close it;
- when I try to open the R5 version again I got all messed up. I see half R5 and half R6.5 design. Sometimes all documents appear as replication conflicts. Sometimes I got a "Illegal circular USE: CSEventNotes";
- sometime the R6.5 version is alson messed up, sometimes not;
- if I close Notes client and delete the cache file when I open the client again everything is OK, until I need to open the two version DBs again;
- this also happens on other machines and either with R5 or R6.5 client.
Does anyone have any suggestion?
