I've not connected from an iSeries to MS Access on Win2k, but I have connected to Oracle on Win2k with DECS. You use the ADDRDBDIRE to create a connection from the AS/400 to the Oracle database, then DECS can connect using the name you specify. I haven't done this since about 5.05, so I'm a bit hazy on the details. We eventually scrapped that and used a Windows-based app rather than Notes.
