Take a look at mNotes from www.commontime.com. It does a terrific job syncing the major Notes conduits (E-mail, calendar, to-do, contacts), and it is very versatile in how users can access their data. (Cradle, ethernet cradle, wireless, across the Internet)
I have experimented with wireless syncing on a Pocket PC device, but the same is supported for Palm OS devices as well.
The documentation isn't that clear, but commontime does offer very good technical support via e-mail. It's also a cost-effective solution as well.
