Having done PPI support for Lotus, I can see why they axed it. It was the biggest pain in the ass and completely unworkable.

Either it was an easy fix and the customer didn't want to pay, maid a complaint, got the fee waived or it was a rediculous problem with about 6 different root causes including network and untrained admin.

Either way, PPI support sucked.
