Assuming that you're already well into Domino, I suggest you install WAS 5.0 using the Domino HTTP server and set it up for Single Sign On (SSO).

This way, you'll be able to experiment with the integration between the two products.

It's pretty cool, once you get it up running, but it's hard getting used to the web based admin tool in WAS. It's not nearly as elegant as the Domino administrator client.
