I performed an OS upgrade from Win2K to XP Pro on a machine that had Notes single logon activated. After the OS upgrade, I get the old Win2K logon prompt, not the new XP welcome screen. The User Accounts panel has the options for fast user switching and welcome screen grayed out and a msg that 3rd party software using ngina.dll has overridden the windows logon which is the notes single logon dll. I uninstalled notes and re-installed without single logon, but the dll is still there and if I rename or move it, I cannot logon to the box at all. I have to put it back in safe mode. How do I get rid of this problem. It does not happen if I do a clean install of the OS which of course means that I need to re-install everything on the machine.
