Easy now, look I agree it might be a little risky for IBM to invest resources to port notes into a native client right now. Considering they haven't got around to supporting anything other than ie on i-notes, I would rather see that work. That said, there is a dire need for a notes client that will run on Linux and do mean run stable and with all the functions working. Just a thought, how about wine. I know it is possible to get R5 working on Linux using wine, but have yet to hear if anybody can get R6 to even install using wine. Anyway, most companies will not accept wine as a viable option until IBM will start supporting it as a viable option. Thats just the opinion of this loyal paying customer. By the way Open / Star office support would be nice too.
