Okay, I'll give it a whirl, even though its unsupported. But I have to ask - will the QMR/QMU path include updates to the Java specs in the 6.X world? The HTTPS stuff is becoming critical if Domino is going to play any kind of a web services role. (I hear the chorus in the background: WebSphere! WebSphere! WebSphere!) Well, I don't *have* WebSphere, I have Domino, and I need to do this today with the tools I have today. I would love to ditch everything and go WAS on the iSeries, but that is easily a year or more away.
Time is of the essence. The MS guys cackle because they claim availability of component products that use ActiveX, IIS and ASP, and I'm starting to lose the argument (not to mention pateince). If IBM has plans to continue improving the Java support along with the point releases in 6, I'm happy, the boss is happy, and the MS guys have to shut up. If not...
