Thank you all! We have been running for 6 days and no CPU spikes. The additional pleasure of telling the few people involved that are anti-Notes (anti-IBM also) and pro-MS that the issue was with the Operating System and not Domino was very rewarding. After a couple of weeks of hearing how it had to be the Domino Server and the R6 just was not robust enough to handle simple mail routing, it was a true joy to show them that Domino runs just fine in PR1, PR2 and first Gold release.
