I recogniced the same under domino 6. Opening connection documents over a line with less bandwidth is terrible. This morning a consultant opened the connection document with debug mode on. And we saw that code was executed which iterated over all forms in the domino directoy to find some subforms and to get some informations from them. Especially the code "Forall Forms In db.forms" takes some time to be executed. I did not investigate in more detail yet.
