They certainly didn't get as far as a "Mobile Notes Client" for the iPAQ, but what IS shipping (well, in final beta) is DEAS 3.0, which does support the iPAQ.
It doesn't put a client on the iPAQ for sync purposes (and let's NOT reopen the discussion from earlier in this thread concerning mNotes v. jpMobile v intellisync). That is supposedly still coming ...
