At least 4 of the top 10 companies in Columbus, Ohio (Nationwide, Ross Labs, Borden, Bank One) all use Notes. Not only for Applications but for their Mail as well. I have been developing applications for all of these companies for the past 7 years, and let me tell you, they are not going "away". They are continually being refined, updated and reused. IMHO the future of Notes is as clear as a window.
