NTASKLDR.exe Hangs R6 Client on 2K and XP ~Ben Minfanapulnivu 27.Oct.03 03:27 PM a Web browser Notes Client 6.0Windows XP
Hi Jim,
same for me (6.02CF2), I changed the problem by having no (full text) index but also having no 100% cpu usage anymore. It is definitely related with the index file. But deleting the index and later recreating isn't the solution, because I got the same effect after the index was re-created.
Interestingly I also tried the following:
Deleting also the (local) replica,
re-replicate it.
When I check the box with "Create Index" when replicating the first time, so that Notes creates the index DURING replication, it stops with an error like "Network error: buffer was too small"
If I replicate it without checking this option (creating the index), it replicates the whole mail database, but after that, index creation results in the same effect = 100% cpu usage.
It is definitely an error in Notes 6 i guess, but nobody from Iris/Lotus is interested in...
