Platform: Windows 2000

Here's what worked for me. First - I uninstalled R5.

(had R5.0.9 on Win 2000 Professional on T22 ThinkPad, all service packs/patches applied)

1. Unistalled R6.

2. Found notes.ini & removed all EXCEPT first three lines.

3. Reinstalled R6

Went thru setup where it asks where your server & ID are located. After that, IT WORKED!!
Retained original desktop & NSFs.
