You are not alone. I have a Mac IMAP user that helps to pile up a lot of those sessions on the server.
I really would like to see Lotus investigate the "drop session" problem that others reported in Notes 6.x and the problem with the imaps sessions that are not terminated correctly.

BTW: I'm using 6.02CF1.

What is the mozilla version you (or your user) is using?
