Notes/Domino Fix List
SPR # QPTR5URCL2Fixed in 6.0.4 release

Product Area: QuickPlace Technical Area: Web Server Platform: Cross Platform

SPR# QPTR5URCL2 - Fixed a problem where the Domino Admin was signed into the QP Server instead of the QP Admin.

Technote Number: 1163495

Problem:
The following Team Workplace 6.5.1 issues are fixed in Domino 6.5.1 Interim Fix
Pack 1 (IF1):

QPTR5URCL2: Wrong web user name match issue
If a Domino user happens to have the same name and password as a Team Workplace
user, the Team Workplace user may take on the credentials of the Domino user
when logging in to a place. Consequently, the user may not be able to access
some of their own data because he/she will fail the authorization checking.

JRUO5DNPQL: Authentication problem when same local user name and password are
used for different place
Similar to the previous issue; in this case, the mixup is between places
instead of between Team Workplace and Domino. Team Workplace users are scoped
to each individual place. With this problem, users in place1 and place2 happen
to have the same username and password may login to the place with the wrong
credentials, running into similar errors as in problem 1 above.

Note: These first two issues are also addressed in Domino 6.0.4 / 6.5.2. See
the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.0.4 / 6.5.2 MR Fix List (available at
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):

SPR# JRUO5DNPQL - Domino will no longer lookup externally authenticated users,
nor cache them when handling Quickplace URLs.
SPR# QPTR5URCL2 - Fixed a problem where the Domino Admin was signed into the QP
Server instead of the QP Admin.

PKRR5WHN3B: Notes.jar appears to map Javac to sun/tools/javac/Main, incorrect
for iSeries
Team Workplace offers a customization feature that allows a manager of a place
to create Placebots. Central to the Placebot creation is the specification of
Java or JavaScript code that executes based on a set of criteria. The form of
the Java code includes .java type files. When a .java file is specified by the
manager, the file is uploaded to the server and compiled. However, the compile
fails. An authorized user viewing the domino console will see an HTTP JVM error
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: sun/tools/javac/Main. For more information, see
"Team Workplace 6.5.1: Error "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
sun/tools/javac/Main" When Creating Placebot" below.

RTAG5W3SFM: Team Workplace internal filter does not pass on PostAuthenticate
event.
Team Workplace no longer supports the DSAPI interfaces (nquickplace) to call
out to a third party filter, such as Netegrity SiteMinder WebAgent. The third
party user authentication feature is now supported through the integration with
Domino DSAPI support. The Netegrity SiteMinder WebAgent needs only be specified
as a Domino DSAPI filter for it to work with Team Workplace. Without the IF1,
authenticating a user with SiteMinder crashes the server because the SiteMinder
web agent was using the QuickPlace 3.x DSAPI interfaces. For more information
on using Team Workplace with SiteMinder see "Team WorkPlace 6.5.1 DSAPI Filter
Handling with Netegrity SiteMinder 5.5" linked below.

The following Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing (Sametime) 6.5.1 issue is
fixed in Domino 6.5.1 Interim Fix Pack 1:

JROU5WFTKD: NSD cannot debug non-Notes crashes and can sometimes cause Domino
to terminate.
NSD is a Domino 6 crash utility that captures all Domino related process
information when a crash occurs. Without the Interim Fix Pack, NSD not have
the ability to debug non-Notes crashes. When debugging such processes, Domino
sometimes terminates. See "Sametime 6.5.1: Information about NSD Debugging
Sametime Server Processes" linked below.
