SPR# JPAI66LNZ7 - If "Deploy Version" was specified in the Desktop Setting Policy dialog, a Notes Client would not be automatically prompted for an upgrade. A workaround would be to not specify a Deploy Version in the Desktop Settings Policy effective for that user. This regression was introduced in 6.5.3 and fixed in 6.0.5, 6.5.4, and 6.5.3 FP1.

Problem:
This issue occurs if a Deploy Version was specified in a Desktop Setting Policy
(Smart Upgrade tab) that was an effective setting for that user(s).

This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR #JPAI66LNZ7 and has been
fixed in Domino releases 6.0.5, 6.5.4 and 6.5.3 Fix Pack 1 (FP1)..

Supporting Information:
To check the Deploy Version setting, open your Domino Directory and go to the
Policies view. Under the Type category, locate the Desktop Policy and select
the Smart Upgrade tab. The Deploy Version field is the first field on that tab.
