A workaround is to drag and drop the attachment to the specific location where
you would like the attachment to be saved to. Or you can open the attachment by
double-clicking it, and after the attachment has been opened then save the
attachment to the local machine.
If you open a new message window and add any file into the attachments area,
the problem will be resolved. This message does not need to be sent; you can
close it without sending it, after adding an attachment.
This issue is caused because the upload control stores the history of the local
path of the attachment in the registry. There is a problem in this case because
there is NO value stored in the registry.
A universal workaround is to disable the "Domino Web Access ActiveX file
attachment utility" in the Configuration document. More >
