SPR# JLAR562T92 - Provided the ability to install subscription in iNotes Web Access Offline, when user's last name contains an apostrophe.
Technote Number: 1095684

Problem:
This issue has been reported to Lotus Quality Engineering and has been
addressed in the version of iNotes Web Access that is available with Domino
5.0.10.
Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Release 5.0.10 MR (available from
http://www.notes.net):
DOLS
SPR# JLAR562T92 - Provided the ability to install subscription in iNotes Web
Access Offline, when user's last name contains an apostrophe.
As a workaround for versions 5.0.8 and 5.0.9, the apostrophe must be removed
from the user name in order to install a subscription for the iNotes Web Access
mail file.
To remove the apostrophe from the user's name, follow these steps:
1. Remove apostrophe in last name through Rename in Administrator.
2. Open mail file in Notes Client to accept name change. You cannot accept a
name change through a browser session - this has been reported as SPR
SDET53RDR6 and there are no plans to fix this in iNotes Web Access 5.x or
iNotes Web Access 6.0.
3. Open the ACL of mail file in Notes client and manually add the changed name
to ACL. If you do not add the changed name to the ACL you will receive a "You
are not authorized." error message when opening the mail file.
4. Remove the apostrophe from the mail file owner name for the mail file.
5. Open mail file in browser and hit the Go Offline button. The subscription
will install.Supporting Information:
