SPR# JMAN5NNSU2 - Old-compiled (circa R4) agents do not always generate the correct number of

arguments to LANSGetName(); this can cause crashes when upgrading to later

R5 versions unless all agents are recompiled. This fix allows old agents

to work as intended. This problem was a regression introduced in 5.0.11 and is fixed in 6.0.4, 6.5.2 and 5.0.13.

Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus software Quality Engineering and has been
addressed in Notes/Domino releases 6.5.2, 6.0.4 and 5.0.13.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.5.2, 6.0.4, and 5.0.13 MR fix
lists (available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/):

Agents
SPR# JMAN5NNSU2 - Old-compiled (circa R4) agents do not always generate the
correct number of arguments to LANSGetName(); this can cause crashes when
upgrading to later R5 versions unless all agents are recompiled. This fix
allows old agents to work as intended. This problem was a regression introduced
in 5.0.11 and is fixed in 6.0.4, 6.5.2 and 5.0.13.

The crash occurs when the Domino server gets one argument for LANSGetName(),
when it expects two, if certain conditions are true.

To work around this issue, open the agent with Notes 5.x or 6.x Designer client
and save it. This methold can prevent the further crash. For best practice,
use this method to recompile the LotusScript agent when upgrading from 4.x
application to 5.x/6.x.
