SPR# CPRE6E9MSY - When a Directory Assistance LDAP document's "Type of search filter to use" is set to Active Directory, sAMAccountName values may now also be used for authentication.

This issue was reported to Quality Engineering and has been fixed in Domino
release 6.5.6.

SPR# CPRE6E9MSY - When a Directory Assistance LDAP document's "Type of search
filter to use" is set to Active Directory, SAMAccountName values may now also
be used for authentication.

Workaround
Prior to 6.5.6 you could change the search type to Custom, and set the
following authentication search filter:
