Web Navigator - Notes with Internet Explorer
SPR # DCOY46ARU9 - Fixed an R5.0 regression problem where pages with a target
of _Blank using 'Notes with Internet Explorer' browser would open up a new
window in the IE browser. The action should have opened a new Notes window.Supporting Information:
The following steps recreate this issue in versions prior to 5.0.4:
1. Set your internet browser to Notes with Internet Explorer in your Location
document.
2. Open up a page that has a link with _Blank as the target (i.e. opens up a
new window).
3. Click on the link.
4. A new Microsoft Internet Explorer top level window is opened, not a Notes
top level window.
5. The user can not use their integrated bookmarks and cannot do other Notes
tasks within the new window.
