SPR# CSAA99VDVL - Fixed a problem where the Russian representation of symbols #, <<, and >> incorrectly displayed in subject field when sending mail to internet users. This happens because Domino's default Cyrillic character set, KOI8-R, does not include these characters. This fix changes the default charset for the Cyrillic charset group from KOI8-R to Windows-1251 (which includes the above characters) If a customer prefers KOI8-R, they can change the configured Cyrillic character set in the Domino Directory Server Configuration.
