Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 7.0.2 fix list (available at
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):
SPR# JPKR69TRTC - When removing resort columns from a view, the system was
failing to remove all $Collation items, resulting in unnecessary collations
being stored and maintained. The problem was displayed as a crash when deleting
a role from the database ACL.
The inital 7.0 fix did not address cases where the $Collation item has a number
greater than 32, and some cases where sorting options are removed for a column
that is to the left of other columns with sorting enabled. A complete fix is
being researched for a future release of Notes 6.5.x.
Supporting Information
A related SPR# WWHG64ZHNN has been created to improve performance of the Notes
7 mail template. The performance issues observed cover a number of areas. One
of those areas is relative to all sort collation's being built initially rather
than on an as needed basis. More >
