SPR# JNON6B2QWG - This fix prevents an intermittent session hang on Solaris. A workaround to this problem is to reboot the Domino server to free the session.

This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# JNON6B2QWG and has been
fixed in Domino 6.5.5 and 7.0.

SPR# JNON6B2QWG - This fix prevents an intermittent session hang on Solaris. A
workaround to this problem is to reboot the Domino server to free the session.

More information from SPR# JNON6B2QWG:
1. The fix is specific to Solaris only.
2. You must set the Notes.INI variable:
SESSION_FORCE_SHUTDOWN=1
to enable the fix.
3. DROP ALL will fail to drop these sessions. Using that command, the sessions
will be dropped 1/2 hour after the max idle time has passed for that session.
4. When an attempt is made to drop such a session, the stat
Server.Net.ForcedShutdowns will be incremented. More >
