Supporting Information:
The import filter setting for "Microsoft RTF" includes an extension association
for .DOC files. If this association is removed, the import filter and dialog
work as expected.
To remove .doc association from the notes.ini:
Open the notes.ini in a text editor.
Locate the line entry beginning with "EDITIMP" for the Microsoft RTF entry. For
example:
EDITIMP12=Microsoft RTF,0,_IW4W,_IRTF,.DOC,.RTF,,2,
3. Edit the line and remove the .DOC extension so the line appears as follows:
EDITIMP12=Microsoft RTF,0,_IW4W,_IRTF,.RTF,,2,
4. Save and close the notes.ini file.
5. Restart Notes. More >
