Notes/Domino Fix List
SPR # MHAC4FAMVYFixed in 5.0.8 release

Product Area: Client Technical Area: Calendaring & Scheduling Platform: Win NT

SPR# MHAC4FAMVY - Fixed a problem where users were receiving the error "Note Error: You are not authorized to perform that function" when opening an existing Meeting in another user's mailfile that they had Read but not Write Access to.
Technote Number: 1087618

Problem:
Everyone can read UserA's Calendar but only UserB has the ability to author or
edit the entries. What this does is give the -Default- entry in the Access
Control List (ACL) of UserA's mail file the ability to 'Read Public Documents'
but not 'Write Public Documents', which is correct. But when anyone other than
UserB double-clicks the Calendar entry in order to open it in Read mode, the
entry is instead erroneously placed in Edit mode rather than Read mode.

This problem was reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering and was
addressed in Notes 5.0.8 Client and Domino 5.0.8 Server.
