Product Area: Server Technical Area: Serviceability Platform: zLinux
Lotus Customer Support APAR: LO09848
SPR# GCHN69DJKQ - This fix will help service issues where the console traceback has not been able to show the functions involved and/or their parameters.
Technote Number: 1209105
Problem:
A serviceability fix, SPR# GCHN69DJKQ (APAR# LO09848), was planned for Domino
6.5.4 Fix Pack 1. However, the updated pstack module was inadvertently left
out of Domino for Linux on zSeries 6.5.4.1 build, meaning the fix is not
available in Fix Pack 1. This fix is now available in Domino 6.5.4 Fix Pack 2
and Domino 6.5.5. Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading
Notes/Domino.
Excerpt from the Lotus Domino Release 6.5.4 Fix Pack 2, 6.5.5 fix list
(available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):
SPR# GCHN69DJKQ - This fix will help service issues where the console traceback
has not been able to show the functions involved and/or their parameters.
As a workaround for earlier releases, if you wish you can download an updated
pstack file with the version that can display Java threads. To do so,
download 'pstack' from the SUSE Linux Web site. Note that in order to access
and download pstack, a SuSE license is required.
Manually replace the 'pstack' found in the Domino ExecDirectory (for example,
"/usr/local/bin/pstack") with the updated 'pstack' version from SUSE Linux.

/opt/lotus/notes/latest/zlinux/pstack
Important: The newer 'pstack' is a smaller file size than the previous one.
The 'pstack' that shipped with Domino 6.5.4.1 is as follows:
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root daemon 59647 Apr 24 2003
/opt/lotus/notes/latest/zlinux/pstack More >
