SPR# YYYW962DRR - For UNIX platforms, fixed code related to sym links such that they are consistently used or not used in apis, based on a notes.ini variable. The default behavoir is that sym links are honored. Setting the new notes.ini variable: DISABLE_SYMLINKS=1 disables resolving sym links.
