SPR# TPON9B8FWH - Server - Messaging - Fixed an issue where users and mail transfer agents could not use the SMTP TLS port for sending mail when the configuration setting "TLS negotiated over TCP/IP port" is set to Required. Before this fix, they would get a "530 TLS required" error. With this fix, since the TLS port session is already encrypted, there is no need to enforce the use of STARTTLS to negotiate a TLS session.

 A fix for this SPR has been developed but is currently undergoing testing. IBM reserves the right to remove this fix from the targeted release if it does not pass quality assurance tests.
