SPR# HYAI88VCKZ - In 8.5.3 a change has been added to the "New mail pop-up" dialog to enable it to appear in the lower right-hand corner of the desktop, whether Notes is active or minimized. In 8.5.2 or earlier Notes client release, notifications would be hidden if the Notes client was active.
